Terms of Use
Last updated: {DATE}
1. About these Terms
These Terms apply when you use EVERY1MAKER (every1maker.com, "we", "us"), create an account, use our design tools, buy Credits or subscribe to a plan. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. Who we are and how to contact us: see section 16.
2. Your account
- You need an account to unlock designs, download files and buy Credits or plans.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and to make purchases.
- Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person per account. Don't share or sell accounts.
- You can delete your account at any time from your Account page (see section 11).
3. What we provide
Our tools let you personalise designs (for example name keychains, bag tags, pet tags, cake toppers and storage trays) and download 3D-printable files (such as STL and 3MF).
- Previews and design are free. Some tools are free to download; others use Credits or a plan.
- After you unlock a design, you can download it again for free for 3 months from the day you first unlocked it.
- Files are generated automatically from the details you enter. Please check your design, spelling and sizes before you unlock and before you print.
- We may add, change or retire tools and features. If we retire a tool, designs you have already unlocked remain downloadable for the rest of their 3-month period where reasonably possible.
4. Credits
- Credits are bought in packs (Maker Starter: 20 Credits; Maker Plus: 50 Credits) or given as a welcome bonus. Each tool shows how many Credits a download costs before you unlock it.
- Credits don't expire while your account is active. If an account has no activity (sign-in, download or purchase) for 7 years and no active subscription, we delete it and any remaining Credits are lost (see section 11 and our Privacy Policy). We don't send a warning email first.
- Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred to another account or exchanged for money, and are not refunded when you delete your account.
- Refunds of Credit packs: see section 8.
5. Plans (subscriptions)
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Maker Pro | £29.99 / month | Unlimited downloads + Commercial Licence · Physical Products |
| Maker Merchant Pro | £59.99 / month | Unlimited downloads + Commercial Licence · Physical + Digital Files |
- Plans renew automatically every month until you cancel.
- Cancelling: cancel any time from your Account page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and then ends. We don't refund part-months. Until it ends you can choose "Keep" to continue.
- Onelink may also let you manage or cancel your plan in your Onelink account. If you do, the timing Onelink shows applies.
- Changing plan: you can only have one renewing plan. To move to the other plan, cancel your current plan first; you can then buy the other plan straight away at its full monthly price. For a short time both plans may be active (until the cancelled one ends). We show this before you pay. There's no proration or credit for the overlap.
- "Unlimited" is subject to fair use (section 10).
- If a renewal payment fails, your plan may stop until payment is fixed.
6. Prices and taxes
- Prices are shown in GBP. At checkout you may see the price in your local currency (converted by our payment provider).
- Prices include VAT or other applicable sales taxes where these are charged as part of the price (for example in the UK and EU). In some countries (for example the United States and Canada) sales tax is added at checkout. The checkout always shows the total before you pay.
- Paid purchases are only available in the countries listed on our Pricing page. Free features are available everywhere.
7. Payments (Onelink)
- Paid purchases are sold through Onelink, a service provided by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for your payment. When you pay, you also agree to Onelink's terms and privacy policy shown at checkout. Onelink is provided by {ONELINK ENTITY}.
- Onelink sends your receipts and invoices and handles payment, tax collection and payment disputes. Your bank statement will show ONELINK* EVERY1MAKER.
- We never see or store your full card details.
- Invoices and payment methods are available under "Billing & invoices" on your Account page.
8. Cancellation rights and refunds
Your 14-day cancellation right (UK/EU consumers). Credits and plans are digital content that we supply straight away. This is shown next to the buy button, and by buying you agree:
- Credits: that the Credits are available immediately and that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once you use any Credits.
- Plans: that your plan starts immediately and that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once you download a file with the plan. You can still cancel future renewals at any time (section 5).
Our refund policy (in addition to your legal rights):
- Credit packs: if you haven't used any Credits since buying the pack, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
- Plans: if you haven't downloaded anything with the plan, you can ask for a refund of your first payment within 14 days of it. Renewal payments are not refunded, but you can cancel before the next renewal.
- Faulty files: if a file we generated is faulty (for example it won't open or doesn't match what the tool showed), tell us and we'll fix it, replace it, or refund you.
How to ask: use "Request a refund" on your Account page or email hello@every1maker.com with your account email and the purchase date. We aim to send a first reply within 5 working days.
Refunds go back to your original payment method through Onelink. When a payment is refunded, the Credits from it are removed, and the commercial licence from a refunded plan period ends (section 9).
Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank — we're happy to sort things out, and a bank dispute costs a small business a lot.
9. Licence — how you may use your files
Your licence for a design is set when you first unlock it, by the plan active on your account at that moment. Re-downloading the design later keeps the same licence.
| Situation | Licence |
|---|---|
| Unlocked while Maker Pro or Maker Merchant Pro was active | That plan's commercial licence — and it stays, even after the plan ends or you delete your account |
| Unlocked with Credits or for free, with no plan active | Personal Use. Starting a plan later doesn't upgrade it |
| Unlocked while two plans overlapped | The higher plan (Maker Merchant Pro) |
| Physical items you printed from a design with a commercial licence | You may sell them at any time, also after the plan ends |
| The payment for a plan period is refunded, or reversed through a bank dispute | The commercial licence for designs unlocked in that period ends; they become Personal Use |
Personal Use (free downloads, welcome Credits and Credit packs)
- Print and use the items yourself, or give them as gifts.
- You may not sell the files, or items printed from them.
Maker Pro — Commercial Licence · Physical Products
- Everything in Personal Use, plus: you may sell physical items you print from designs unlocked while your Maker Pro plan was active (for example at markets or online shops).
- You may not sell, share or give away the digital files themselves.
Maker Merchant Pro — Commercial Licence · Physical + Digital Files
- Everything in Maker Pro, plus: you may sell or supply the digital files of designs unlocked while your Merchant Pro plan was active.
For everyone
- You are responsible for the text, names and other details you enter. Don't use names, logos, characters or trademarks you don't have the right to use, or anything unlawful or offensive.
- We (and our licensors) keep all rights in the tools, templates, fonts and website. The licence above covers the generated files only. You may not copy, sell or offer our tools or website themselves — for example by recreating our generators or providing the same kind of file-generating service.
- There are no licence keys and we don't track how you use your files — please follow these rules in good faith.
10. Fair use and acceptable use
- "Unlimited" means normal use by one person or one small business. Technical limits apply (for example a maximum number of downloads in a short period) to keep the service fast and safe for everyone.
- Don't use bots, scripts or scraping to access the tools or download files, try to get around limits or payments, or interfere with the website.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Where reasonable, we'll tell you why first.
11. Deleting your account
You can delete your account from the Account page. When you do:
- your remaining Credits are lost (not refunded);
- any active plan is cancelled immediately, with no refund for the rest of the current period;
- your download history and saved designs are deleted and can't be downloaded again;
- designs you already unlocked keep the licence they had when unlocked (files you have saved can still be used under that licence);
- payment records are kept for 7 years for tax and accounting, without your email address.
This can't be undone. Inactive accounts are also deleted after 7 years (section 4).
12. Safety and your printed items
- Files are provided for 3D printing by you or your printer. How items are printed, finished and used is your responsibility.
- Cake toppers: most 3D-printing materials are not food-safe. Don't let printed items touch food unless you use suitable food-safe materials and methods.
- Keychains, tags and small items can be a choking hazard. They are not toys; keep them away from young children and pets' mouths.
- Pet tags / QR pet tags: check that the details you enter (such as phone numbers) are correct. Anyone who scans or reads the tag can see them.
13. Our responsibility to you
- We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Files are generated automatically and we can't guarantee the website will always be available or error-free.
- If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for business losses (lost profit, sales or opportunities), or for loss caused by how items are printed or used.
- If you use the service for business, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't legally be limited.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. We'll show the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you by email or on the website before they apply. Price changes for plans apply from your next renewal after we tell you.
15. Complaints and law
- Contact us first at hello@every1maker.com — we aim to send a first reply within 5 working days.
- These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of where you live and can bring claims in your local courts.
